I've been in the business of creating and helping people feel seen for a long time. For seventeen years I worked as a hairdresser and creative mentor, sitting with people, listening to their stories, supporting them to embrace their individuality, and bringing creative ideas to life.

It was in that era I realised I didn't want to stop at the conversation or the idea. I wanted to stay with it a little longer; to help shape it, build it, and watch it become the thing with them.

That curiosity led me into graphic design and 35mm film photography. Looking back, the shift wasn't as big as it seemed. I was still doing what I'd always done: listening closely, finding what made someone or something feel like itself, and translating that into something you could see and feel. The chair and tools just look a little different now.
